Make sure it only fills the jar about halfway. [Zapp Von Doubler] The cream is filled with microscopic fat globules. They're like tiny balloons filled with fat! Aven Step 2: Shake and shake and shake and shake. Then, shake some more. When the cream gets really thick, like whipped cream, you're almost done, but not yet, so keep shaking. [Zapp Von Doubler] As you shake, those fat balloons smash together and their skin breaks, releasing the fat! Aven Step 3: Shake until the cream separates, and the jar contains a solid lump of butter and a liquidy milk.
