Let's work together, bring different talents to a shared project, and celebrate our collaboration!
[MUSIC PLAYING] Hello, SuperNoodlers. It's a gorgeous day to be creative. I'm grateful you're here. Today, I'd like to discuss with you about celebrating others. And when we do that, we need to keep in mind that there are so many different types of creativity, like originality, dreaming, imagination, being brave, and empathy of others just to name a few. [MUSIC PLAYING] So the other day, I was hanging out with my friend Squeaky LaRue in Harmony Hollow, when we both realized we were both creative, but in different ways. We decided to collaborate and create something new together. I wanted to paint a tree and Squeaky wanted to write a song about it. We were able to be creative in the same space while we were doing two completely different types of creative things. As soon as I completed my painting, Squeaky had finished writing her song. We were both super excited to share our art with one another. I went first. Squeaky jumped for joy looking at my painting. She told me she could see a strong oak tree that had been around for many years, and that I had also captured the movement of the tree's leaves blowing in the breeze, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Her words made me feel happy, proud, and confident. Squeaky then shared her song she had written about the tree. And you know what? Oh, it was absolutely fantastic! Squeaky really captivated me with the emotions she brought forward with how beautiful, strong, and important the tree was to her. I may have shed a tear from how emotional her song was. I felt it in my heart. I was really proud of her. And she was grateful for my encouraging words. Are two separate pieces of art became one, hanging side by side one another in my art studio. And they look so cool together on my wall. I can't help but smile every time I walk past that masterpiece. It made me think of all the different ways there are for us to be good friends. One is simply knowing your friend by spending time and listening to them. Another way is to celebrate their efforts, whether it's being creative, getting a good grade on a test, or even landing a skateboard jump. There are many ways to acknowledge, applause, cheer on, and courage and show appreciation for other's creative efforts. So let's remember to always celebrate each other's creativity because it makes them feel good, which in turn makes us feel good too. My SuperNoodle friends, we've approached that time again for us to get up.
