Squatchy misunderstands what a "meteor shower" is - in such funny ways. But he keeps asking in order to find out the truth.
Hey, hey, hey, Super Noodlers. It's me, Squatchy Berger. Squatchy is so happy to see you. Squatchy want you to learn today about asking questions to explore our curiosity. Questions can lead us to more questions and more knowledge, which is why questions are never wasted. They always lead us somewhere. Like the other night, Squatchy was near lightning Lake when Squatchy stumbled upon Ranger buddy having a stargazing party with some good friends-- Flash Bolton and McPufferson. They were all together to watch a meteor shower. Meteor? Rocks? Shower? Take soapy bath? What? Squatchy asked them if they were going to wash rocks because Squatchy loved to rock. Ranger buddy explained to Squatchy that a meteor is a rock from space that has entered the Earth's atmosphere. Yeah. Atmosphere means all of air surrounding Earth. The rock is very hot, making a streak across the sky. The shower part is flying or showering all of them at same time. Not actually washing rocks in bathtub or shower. [LAUGHS] Good to know. [LAUGHS] Squatchy ask how often this happens and was told about 30 times a year. Oh. Squatchy was concerned about getting hit by space rock meteor. But Ranger buddy reassured Squatchy meteors are usually small, like dust or Pebbles. And they usually sparkle and burn up in the atmosphere before hitting Earth. Small chance to land anywhere near Squatchy or you. So we're good, Super Noodle friends. [LAUGHS] Squatchy had a great time watching night sky with friends and learning about space, stars, and atmosphere too. [LAUGHS] But Squatchy would never have known any of this if Squatchy never ask questions. Squatchy gained so much information and knowledge that evening Squatchy did not know before. Squatchy also had to practice patience because watching space shower was serious waiting game, if you know what Squatchy mean. OK, Super Noodlers, it's time to get up and get moving. So let's rock and roll.
