Snoopy’s Space Week: A Golden Opportunity for Kids to Explore the Cosmos

As humans explore space, we make astounding discoveries—and those discoveries inspire children and adults alike. Children learn about our solar system, and they thirst for more… How does gravity work? How do astronauts survive for days in space? What is the sun made of? With access to information like never before via the internet, space is truly the limit for their imaginations. ~ Brought to you by: Take Care With Peanuts

Snoopy’s Space Week: A Golden Opportunity for Kids to Explore the Cosmos

Space is for everybody. It’s not just for a few people in science or math, or for a select group of astronauts. That’s our new frontier out there, and it’s everybody’s business to know about space.

That’s why we’re excited about Snoopy’s Space Week. It’s a week-long celebration of the upcoming launch of NASA’s Artemis I spacecraft. Peanuts has teamed up with GoNoodle to help kids get excited about space exploration, and to learn about everything from planets, to asteroids, black holes, orbits, basic physics, and more!

Entertain your family or classroom with fun videos featuring the Peanuts gang as Snoopy himself prepares to blast off into space! Watch interesting videos about the preparation that went into making the spacesuit for the Snoopy plush that will float around inside the Artemis I (hint: a lot went into the styling and materials to make Snoopy’s space suit as authentic as it could be!). We’ve also created a plethora of activities for kids K-5 that will get them thinking about the world outside, get their imagination moving, and learn facts about the universe and introductory STEM concepts. Create a mission badge through teamwork and cooperation. We have fun coloring activities for younger astronauts, and fact-matching activities for those a little older.

No matter what, Snoopy’s Space Week promises to be a truly out-of-this-world opportunity to get your kiddos excited about the world beyond!
