Children How To! Boy How to do an awesome card trick. Cool. Boy You'll need 21 playing cards, and a friend to amaze. Step one, ask your friend to shuffle the 21 cards. Wow. (upbeat music) Boy Step two, lay all the cards face up, one by one, in three rows. Go across laying one card in one row at a time, until all 21 cards are showing. Step three, ask your friend to pick a card, in their head and not to tell you which card they picked. Let's say they picked the seven of hearts. Remember, you won't know their card. Step four, ask them to tell you which row the card is in. Not the card, just the row. They'll pick this row, since the seven of hearts is here. Interesting. Boy Step five, gather all the cards, making sure they row they picked is in the middle. Step six, again, lay all the cards face up, one by one, in three rows, just like you did before. Step seven, again, ask your friend to tell you which row their card is in. Now the seven of hearts is in this row, so they'll pick this one. And again, gather up all the cards putting that row in the middle. This is so exciting. Boy Step eight, lay all the cards again, face up, one by one, in three rows. Step nine, ask your friend one last time to tell you which row their card is in. They'll pick this one. And just like before, place that row in the middle. What will happen next? Boy Step 10, lay out all the cards face up and count them out in your head. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. The next one is going to be the seven of hearts. The 11th card will always be the one they picked. Trust me, it works every time. Don't say anything yet. Just lay out the rest of the cards.
