Welcome to www.gonoodle.com, our mobile and set-top box applications (“Application”), and our pages on Twitter.com, Facebook.com, Pinterest.com, Google.com, and Instagram.com (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by GoNoodle, Inc. (“GoNoodle”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
When an educator registers, we collect first name, last name, email address, username, zip code, date of birth, password, and the school in which they teach/use GoNoodle.
When a user registers for GoNoodle, and each time a user logs into GoNoodle to play a movement video, we automatically collect the Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of the computer or mobile device being used to access GoNoodle as wells as information about the user’s web browser or app. This information is used only to provide an enhanced on-line experience for our visitors by optimizing our web pages for your computer or device (e.g.: the identity of your Internet browser (e.g., Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you use (Mac or Windows), and the domain name of your Internet service provider). We may also use this non-personal information to develop utilization data on our Site.
We use the information collected from teachers, parents, and children for internal purposes only, such as helping users keep track of the activities they have played, to help us understand the general location of GoNoodle’s users, and to help us operate and improve GoNoodle.
We use the parents’ email address to communicate about their children’s use of GoNoodle, to let them know about updates to the Site, and to notify parents of offers related to GoNoodle activities that may interest them. Parents may opt out of receiving email communications at any time.
We do not sell, exchange or share any of the personal information we collect from GoNoodle users with any other entity, except in the following circumstances:
If we are acquired by a third party as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale or if our assets are acquired by a third party in the event we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, some or all of our assets, including your personal information, may be disclosed or transferred to a third party acquirer in connection with the transaction.
We comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate: (i) to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas); (ii) to protect our property, rights and safety and the property, rights and safety of a third party or the public in general; and (iii) to stop any activity that we consider illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
Users may request deletion of their accounts, and parents may request deletion of their children’s accounts by emailing email@example.com.
When you delete your account or your child’s account, all of your information is permanently deleted, and cannot be recovered.
You can request to review, correct, update or have deleted your (or your child’s) personally identifiable information from our database by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or Privacy Request, GoNoodle, Inc., 209 10th Avenue South, Suite 350, Nashville, TN 37203. Please include your name, email address and a telephone number where we can reach you. To protect you and/or your child’s privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting you access to the personal information that we collect and maintain about you and/or your child.
Our site does not have the capability to respond to “Do Not Track” signals received from various web browsers.
