Tight Spaces

“One of the biggest challenges educators face in the classroom can be finding a way to incorporate GoNoodle into their classroom when space is an issue. Here are some great activities that you can use to keep students moving despite your tight space!” -Thomas M., GoNoodle Ambassador and 5th grade teacher

1. I to the L: This Brainercise with Mr. Catman activity is super quick and super awesome. Your students only need their hands, so they can do this one sitting down! It’s a fun challenge for adults too.

2. Empire State: Maximo is a pro at getting your students up and moving in that tight space. This video is the perfect morning stretch, try it during morning meeting!

3. It’s Not Hard: This Moose Tube hit brings the excitement of clapping, snapping, and more to your small or crowded space! The key to this activity is being able to follow along and have fun!

4. Have Compassion: Here’s another one that you complete from your seat! Empower Tools videos are great to use when students are coming in from recess and need to calm down, or before a test to eliminate the anxiety in the room!

5. Rainbow Breath: The whole Flow channel is great for encouraging students to reflect on their actions and be mindful. Your students will love Rainbow Breath!

6. Indoor Recess 10: Is it raining, snowing, or just too hot to go outside? Don’t fret! GoNoodle has an entire Indoor Recess channel full of longer mash-up style videos that will get your students moving.

No matter what kind of space you have, GoNoodle has you covered. Now, what are you waiting for? Get moving!
